Toast your curry powder in your pan on low heat for 2-3 minutes to bloom the flavors. Add in your oils, onion, peppers and garlic to sweat before adding your other ingredients.

Curry is not ideal for fast-cooking dishes, so allot for slower and longer cooking times to release the full flavors of the spices.

Although curry may add to your dish, it should not be the only flavor component in your meal.
